Greg Gammon is the Director of Operations at Turbomachinery Lab Symposium Office and has been working here for four years.
What image is the background of your phone?
Just clouds one of the pictures that came with the phone.
Is there anything interesting we should know about you?
I like fitness oriented activities. Whenever I’m able to I like hiking and backpacking. I’m really into film photography, digital photography has become too easy. Film photography requires more imagination.
What are your favorite movies or TV shows?
I like independent, character-driven films. I have a unique appreciation for “mumble core” movies like Frances Ha (Greta Gerwig is a great actor/director) that emphasizes naturalistic acting. I don’t watch TV anymore.
What is a brief explanation of what you do here?
In simplest terms I’m a facilitator. I support the staff and make sure they have all the resources they need. I work on business development right now that deals with a lot of ATPS.
Have there been any moments working here that stick out to you?
When we had our leadership transition of Turbo Lab directors there was some chaos that came with that. Also some of the pranks at the office. One Halloween I came in to a dark spooky maze made of trash bags. It was pretty elaborate.
When people think of you professionally, what do you want them to think about?
That I am ethical.
