Martha is director of exhibitor services at the Turbomachinery Lab Symposium Office. She has been at the Turbo Lab for more than 15 years.

My five grandchildren. I have two sons, two daughter-in-loves and five grandchildren.
Is there anything interesting we should know about you?
I love music and I love singing. I’ve been singing my whole life. I mainly sing Christian contemporary music. My whole family sings; we are a very musical family. I love spending time with my family and I love traveling.
What has been your favorite place to visit?
I surprised my husband with an Alaskan cruise and it was beautiful. It had been one of his dream vacations for a while. I would also love to visit London or Paris.
What are your favorite movies or TV shows?
I love any crime shows, and I love romantic comedy movies.
What is a brief explanation of what you do here?
I oversee all aspects of Exhibitor Services for our continuing education events, which include the Turbomachinery & Pump Symposia and the Asia Turbomachinery & Pump Symposium. I develop, organize, and manage the exhibition portion of our events. I also handle contracts for venues and sub-contractors.
What is your favorite part of working here?
I love working with exhibitors. People have told me this job was made for me. It fits my strengths and personality. I’ve made a lot of close friends through the people that I’m able to work with.
Have there been any moments working here that stick out to you?
One touching moment that comes to mind is when my grandmother passed away and the vendors acknowledged her death. It meant a lot to me.
When people think of you professionally, what do you want them to think about?
I want people to think of my integrity and that I am a very positive person and always willing to help.
