TPS Additional Events 2022

Women of TPS Luncheon
The Women of TPS luncheon will return for TPS 2022. The event is a forum for women of TPS to share experiences and challenges in the industry. It is also an avenue in which those experiences and challenges can be heard and understood by others, including upper management.

Both women and men are encouraged to attend. The luncheon is open to all individuals affiliated with the symposium, from technical engineers, to sales and marketing staff, to administrative professionals. Thank you to our panelists: Jane Ploeger, Head of Technology and Innovation, Siemens Energy; Charli Matthews, Founder and CEO, Empowering Pumps and Equipment and Empowering Women in the Industry; Elizabeth Bramhall, Manager General Business Development, Constellation; Sarah Farnand, Global Business Manager, New Equipment, Air Products.

When: Wednesday, Sept. 14, noon-1:30 p.m.
How Much: $50 – Add the luncheon when you register online, or register onsite. Space is limited, so register early!
What’s included? Discussion and Q&A with four female panelists representing the wide breadth of TPS and the turbomachinery and pump communities.

  • Bag bingo (take home a designer purse or bag!)
  • Plated meal

Marketers Meetup
Join us for the third annual Marketers Meetup at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15. The event serves as an opportunity for TPS attendees in sales and marketing positions to build relationships and share new insights. Participants will hear from Charli Matthews, Founder and CEO, Empowering Pumps and Equipment and Empowering Women in Industry, about the “Power of Storytelling in the Industrial Market”.

The Turbomachinery Laboratory Booth
Stop by the Turbomachinery Laboratory booth #2022 to hit a hole-in-one on our mini putting green! Learn about TPS, ATPS, and the Turbomachinery Laboratory at Texas A&M University.

Built on a history of success, the annual TPS promotes professional development, technology transfer, peer networking and information exchange among industry professionals. TPS regularly attracts over 3,000 delegates from 45 countries and over 350 exhibiting companies.

“TPS offers everything one would hope to expect with the cost of shows: networking, current and potential customer contact, technical and learning sessions, trend observation, helpful staff, and most importantly, targeted exposure to the industry resulting in quality leads,” said Maeve McGoff, sales and marketing coordinator with Cincinnati Gearing Systems. “The Turbomachinery Show continues to be one [of our] most successful and beneficial platforms for industry exposure…TPS is relevant, and the best show in the turbomachinery industry.”

Technical Program

The technical program includes short courses, lectures, tutorials, case studies and discussion groups led by experts in their fields. The full program schedule is posted online here, and the entire event program can be viewed here. All proceedings from previous programs are available online, for free, at turbolab.tamu.edu/proceedings.

In preparation for next year’s program, the TPS 2023 call for papers is now open. Abstracts, one to three pages, are due Friday, Oct. 21, 2022. For more details on submission requirements as well as solicited areas of interest, visit tps.tamu.edu/program/submissions. TPS 2023 will be held Sept. 26-28, with short courses on Sept. 25.

Exhibition

The exhibition will feature booths from more than 350 companies from the oil and gas, petrochemical, power, pump and turbomachinery industries. Companies will display full-size equipment, cutting-edge technology and emerging industry trends. During a portion of the symposia, exhibit hall entry will be free to the public.

To view the floorplan and list of exhibiting companies, visit tps.tamu.edu/exhibition.

TPS Mobile App

Stay updated on event details, booth information and more by downloading the TPS 2022 Mobile App! Search for and download the mobile app from your app store the week before the event. Your username will be the email you used to register. The password will be the reference number found in your registration conformation email.
