Judy Hodgson

Judith E. (Judy) Hodgson, P.E.

Judy is an independent consultant and president of JE Hodgson Consulting Enterprises, LLC. She was previously with DuPont and Westinghouse, gaining more than 20 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting pumping systems and seals at chemical and nuclear plants worldwide. For 10 of those years she was a DuPont corporate pump consultant and for five years a principal R&D engineer in Westinghouse’s Reactor Coolant Pump (RCP) group focused on RCP seals. In her current role, besides offering consulting in pump reliability and computer modeling of system flow (incompressible, compressible, and water hammer), Judy also provides pipe stress analysis consulting. Ms. Hodgson has a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering and is a registered professional engineer in the State of Delaware.
Charli Matthews

Charli K. Matthews

Charli is the Founder & CEO of Empowering Brands and Empowering Pumps & Equipment, has worked in the media industry since 2005 and is a known leader for building brands, growing online networks, and helping companies embrace digital media. Her passion for her work and clients and deep understanding of how to leverage social media has enabled Empowering Pumps & Equipment to become the leading online community for the pump industry! She is focused on creating communities and conferences focused on Empowering Women in Industry.
Jane Ploeger

Jane Ploeger

Jane began her career with Siemens in March 2004 after completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business from San Diego State University in San Diego, California and an MBA from the European School of Business in Reutlingen, Germany. Jane began her Siemens career in business development and strategy in the compression business unit in Germany.  She then moved to M&A, later followed by Global Footprint, helping to set up a factory for compressors in India and China.  She spent 4 years working in the US as an engineering & testing manager and then returned to Germany to work in the Technology & Innovation department of the Oil & Gas business unit.  Today Jane heads the Portfolio Management group within TI. In her spare time Jane is parenting a teenage son, learning Italian, and attending opera performances.
Meera Day Towler

Meera Day Towler, P.E.

Meera is a Research Engineer in the Rotating Machinery Dynamics Section at Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, TX. While at SwRI, her research has included instrumentation, performance testing, control systems, and rotordynamics analysis intended for applications such as turboexpanders, centrifugal compressors, and utility-scale cycles. She has Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics from Southern Methodist University and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a specialization in controls and dynamic systems.

WOMEN OF TPS LUNCHEON

$50 – Add the luncheon when you register online, or register onsite. Note that space is limited.The Women of TPS luncheon is a forum for women of TPS to share experiences and challenges in the industry. It is also an avenue in which those experiences and challenges can be heard and understood by others, including upper management.

Both women and men are encouraged to attend. The luncheon is open to all individuals affiliated with the symposium, from technical engineers, to sales and marketing staff, to administrative professionals.
